Default New Firefox Update Available

Just in case you hadn't seen this, or ignored the updates popup that appeared in your browser

Version 1.0.2 is now available. It contains several security fixes and patches. Might be me, but it does appear to be quicker aswell. Details here

been using firefox. tried to find if there's a link to update it from version 1 to version 1.0.2 but cant find it! so finally download the 1.0.2 and install it from there. is that the only way to update? isnt there something like windowsupdate where it will update itself???

there's usually a blue arrow in the top-right corner that tells you when updates are available. AFAIK, it won't automatically download and install them for you.

The update comes down as separate file - it appears to be a complete installation. There isn't a auto install option on FF - no bad thing, as you can make your own decisions if you want the update - useful if you are working in development and you want a stable, consistent environment.

mine's a red "Up" arrow. Top right corner.

Hover over and it says "updates available"

it would be right beside the dotted circle. you can't miss it when it's there.

are you running 1.0 or 1.0.1?

just go to the homepage and download the latest exe file and install it. That's all the update does anyway.
