.....anybody used it with a much underspecced PC or Mac?

SD555.....the system requirements for processor and ram are beyond my ancient laptop (128mb ram and 650 processor). Steinberg reckon I should increase ram to 256 and buy SE.......but I'd like the built in sounds in SL. I wondered if anyone had run it with less.

Wish I had my old powermac back!

tough call really, as the VST instruments are processor hungry - especially if you're running a low-spec'd machine.
I would definitely chuck in some more RAM.

It WILL still run like a dog though.

FWIW, you'd still have the same issue with an older PowerMac.

I run it at work on an Celeron (IIRC) with 512Meg of Ram. Works OK.........
