An update fixed this problem. Download the latest patches to fix it.

Personally, I would ditch NVE in favour of VSO DivxToDVD. Utterly awesome program, does an incredible job of encoding to vob. Very fast, smooth playback and small file size too. You can usually convert 2 full divx movies to vob and fit them on 1 DVD5

I just convert the films using VSO then use DVDShrink to make the DVD with 2 titles, no further compression is required so it flies through.

I only tend to use NVE or similar if I need menus and such. Not usually a requirement.

I've used DVDSanta in the past, works well but sometimes just refuses to convert some files.
Will try out this VSO software

Yep, just Nero mate (DVD Video Files mode).

If you're using DVDShrink to put 2 movies on one DVD, it can burn it for you too, so no need for Nero in that case.

You need to choose to create a "DVD Video" in Nero and then you should see two windows within Nero. One window will be the 'Project' window which shows two folders - Video_TS and Audio_TS and the other is the file explorer window.
All you need to do is browse in the file explorer for the folder that was created and select all the files in the Video_TS folder and drag and drop them into the 'Project' window under the same folder name (Video_TS)

Hope all that makes sense?

Good luck

Nick

Just use Nero Express, select your DVD drive at the top, click DVD Video Files and drag the new files into this empty screen. Then just click Next then Burn.

If you feel lucky, give it a go What files to you have ?

You should be dragging over a video_ts.bup a video_ts.ifo a vts_01_0.bup a vts_01_0.ifo then a number of vts_01_*.vob files.

Is this what you have ?

You're missing the other required files.

What did you encode with ? You will need to encode the files again.

I downloaded that the other night - piece of ****. DVD worked first time so now I can watch latest episodes of 24 on my big tv in the lounge. The picture and sound is excellent.

No settings, just point it to your source file then give it a destination folder and click 'Convert'.

Maybe the files are hidden ? Check that you are showing hidden files in Windows.

What version are you using ?
