Hi,

I've got to deploy some software on a few servers but unfortunatley the clients doesn't have an software deployment tools in place to facilitate this.

Does anyone know of any free programs which would allow me to do this?

You mean you need to build an install script to run on the machine or remotely install?

What are you deploying. IE for example has a deployment tool built into the admin kit, same as office.

How many servers? any restarts required after install?

If it's under 5 I'd do it one by one via Remote Desktop.

sorry I'll be more specific. I'm trying to rollout a software agent to 100's of servers within out company but they don't have any software delivery mechanism in place (eg CA Software Delivery).

The installation of the agent is scripted, I just need some way of pushing it out and making it deployment automated.

this has nothing to do with remote desktop control.
