Hi All

I have bought my self a Video Camera and it came with this software, it looks really cool the software.
I have messed with 15 min of filming and it took a lot time to copy and put on a DVD.

My problem is the DVD is a DVD+R I can play it on a Laptop but it wont play on my computer or TV? any ideas as to whats up with it.

Pinnacle - we had the same problem at work dumping adverts to DVD took ages - simple fix was to use latest version of Nero (reloaded) with all the extras etc. Took 10 mins to burn stuff that Pinnacle to 40-50 mins.

I don't know enough about the software to give an explanation why...

 

Because, buy the majority or reports, it's very buggy and not the best peice of all-in-one video software available. It may look good, and work some of the time, but best to get something better..

 

Did you actually make a DVD compatible movie using VOB files, or a VCD/SVCD ?


You have probably just got a straightforward MPEG or AVI, that runs in media player.


Use Nerovision, or some other DVD authoring package.

 

Thanks for the replys. I got a Nero with some other software we bought, I think it's Nero Burning Rom 6.SE OEM Suite.

Is this the Nero Suite I should have?

I have just had a look at the Nero that came with my spyware software and it is just a sample for a month unless I buy the plus in. So looks like I will have to buy the full Nero or is there anyone else out there that can suggest a nice video software for making DVD from Vedio camera but easy to use also.

We bought the latest version of Nero including all the DVD authoring add-ins for £18 per licence (site licence - 10 users) silly cheap for a good product !!!

 

By the way I forgot to tell you, I then tried to take it off my computer because it was to slow and I was going to use my partners compute,r but it leaves a little bit that you can not remove. So I tried a restore back to the day I bought the camera and my computer had gone down and I can not get it up and runing again I have even tried to put Windows XP back on and thats not worked so I need a new computer now.

Ps when you have a DVD drive in your computer? do you still need anything else so you can play DVD on your computer etc?
