PSP Region locking games......
The jungle drums have started
Hope it's all just BS , just have to wait till March sometime when the US games hit. If they do use it then at least Japan/UK is region 2 ( if they uses DVD coding areas)

I think it's BS, but fingers crossed anyhow.
PSP adopts both a "worldwide" and "regional" code system," explains Molly Smith of SCE America. "For games on PSP there is no region code. However, due to language and system issues, quality assurance procedures are done in each territory. Therefore, we recommend purchasing both the hardware and corresponding software in the same market/territory."

I'm waiting till the US launch after this game.
Then it's Tiger woods and Tony Hawks underground 2 remix. Depending on review I'll go for Wipeout pure too
