Just pre-ordered it the other day with some fancy steering wheel.
I must say, i'm kinda looking forward to it....
Although, i'm not holding my breath for it being released on that day. Every time that get's said, it gets postponed again.

Yes indeedy.. I wanted to "pre-order" my copy by getting one of the GT4 350Z's with the game and a PS2 in the boot.. Finances being what they are had to settle for a £29.99 Amazon pre-order

US version is available for import from Feb23rd - for $48!!
I've got a modded US PS2 so its an option - just not that impressed with the new game's "improvements" over the last one..

Could I also remind you that March sees the release of another "classic" for the PS2 - METAL GEAR SOLID - SNAKE EATER
I've already played and completed this (US Version) and its quality.

Also due in march is TimeSplitters : Future Perfect. I think it'll be easier if I phone in sick for a month
Want to pre-order gt4 (in case it comes early) but I'm put off by no guarantee's that' I'll have it on launch day, so will just go to the shop instead.
Still waiting on lik-sang getting the gt4 memory cards in - not enough room for it on the 1 i've got already.
Isn't it playable online via this x-link thingy?
They could still have the world rankings online at least - no need to scrap that...

Online play will be included in the next Gran Turimso 4 game due within 12months from this one.
They also mention the Euro broadband infrastructure isn't as good value as Japans so they'd benefit from delaying it. Its only now we're seeing UK ISP's offering free upgrades to 1MB/s lines, whereas Japan had this a while ago apparently. "GT4-Online" must need a big fat pipe!
Personally I'd rather have collision damage, instead of this time-delay penalty system they have when you clip an opponent in the new game.

There's never been any confirmed info on an online version of GT4 - the only other confirmed game is "Gran Turismo For Boys" - which to me sounds like it's based around modding.
