Default Stupid Scanning Question..

I want to scan my rev counter in.. (Actually remove it and place in the scanner)

I want to retain the exact scale of it so I can edit it and then some how print / have it cut again and put it back..

How can I do that?? not used a scanner in years!

David

Your scanner should scan the image as is. You would then get the option of changing the resolution etc.

To be sure, measure the width and length, and make sure you choose the same for the image before printing. It's always better to start with, and edit, an image larger than the required size so that you get a good clean finish.

Scan at say 600 dpi (there will be setting for it somewhere).

Then print it out at 600dpi and scaled to 100%, should come out the same size.
