Strange Internet 'non' activity?????

Strange Internet 'non' activity?????
Guy's and gals....
Had a few computer niggles recently, this ones new however, I normally use the Mozilla Firefox browser, and for some reason i can't find certain sites which I no for sure are in operation..... even opening IE it won't find them??
Not sure what the problem may be, any ideas?? it's basically the site where you check your premium bonds that I can't find, but a relative has, so it would appear to be our pc.....
