Adobe Illustrator - how to insert and crop images
Hi
Just having a play with Adobe Illustrator for the first time, and seems like a great program.
Quick question for any regular users - how do you insert images / crop images? Cant seem to find the option for this. Everything else seems quite straightforward so far.

To insert images
File > Place...
To crop an image to any shape you want you have to make a clipping mask using a new path, then group the path and the image together, then select
Object > Clipping Mask > Make
(the above may not be exactly correct as I am not in front of my copy right now and I can remember which menu the clipping mask sits under)
Illustrator, the designers best friend and worst nightmare Enjoy.
