Removing red eye from photos

Can anyone suggest a method or application for removing red eye from digital photos. Ideally one that keeps the format of the photo and EXIF data etc would be handy.

My personal favorite is Photoshop. Not much you can't do with it when it comes to picture editing, also loads of net based tutorials.. Just need to get yourself a copy now.

I found the red-eye removal system in Photoshop great - if you've spent three years practicing how to use it. For a lot less money the one in Paintshop Pro is easy to use and works pretty well.
