Recording real audio streams

Recording real audio streams
It's John Peel night on Radio 1 this evening, I'd like to record it as I have to attend a function I can't get out of and a 90 min tape isn't going to do the job.
Anyone know of some free software that will record real audio streams?

Windows Sound Recorder
Seriously, anything that records sound from your sound card. I use Sound Forge because you can setup the length of time you want to record for.
Just set it up so you can hear the station through your PC, and set the recording channel to the same device. Simple, then just save to wav, mp3 or whatever.
There are lots of alterntives, Winamp is handy for this too, just change to the MP3 output plugin and stream straight to file.
