its looking a v good game and of course being a huge LOTR fan i could not resist. getting gandalf running around on shadowfax casting wizard blast and lightning sword is funnnnnnnnnnnn
only just started playing it over the weekend so still learning stuff and doing the skirmishes - single battle scenarios, as opposed to starting the full campaign.
Messiah : i was never a C&C fan. played the first one i reckon along with TA at the time but none since so i dont know how it compares to Generals. I believe its a tweaked Generals engine. Certainly looks pretty spectacular so far.........
Tony : its running on my new pc....P4 3.2, 1gig pc3200 and a 128mb xfx 6600gt pci-e grafix card. Aiming to try it on the 'old' one as well.....P4 2.6, 512mb pc 3200 and a 128mb 9500 Pro to see if there is much difference. Cant actually remember the min or recommended specs for this one.......i got it online fo £27.99. think play are cheapest.....£26.99 but their post can be iffy (witness my LOTR:TROTK Collectors Box Set has not yet arrived) so i went with gameplay.
I'd go back to MVC and get out that credit / debit card or cash asap this afternoon if i were you.....
you know it makes sense

Sounds good Steve
All i can say about the DVD boxset is that the extra 48 mins is very good but you have to change DVD's half way though (nice break for a drink and the toilet )
Not quite sure if i can afford the game yet though, ive got a heater matrix and fitting to pay for (and its not looking cheap )
Cheers!
