How Bl00dy difficult is it to get an unlatch code for a mobile phone!!!!
I'm getting really p1ssed off with this now. 
How difficult can it be to get an unlatch code?
I'm on O2 - my "provider" has sent me 2 phones locked to Vodaphone. I've requested an unlatch code for each phone - it will take UP TO 3 WEEKS!!!!!
why? surely, it's a case of cross-referencing the IMEI number with the provider and unlatching it.....
Can ANYBODY help - PLEASE!!!! I'm without a phone, but more importantly, my wife is without, and I don't like her not having any contact in emergencies...

what model phone are you trying to unlock? Modern Nokia's can be done remotely, SonyEricsson models need something like http://www.totalserver.net/

It's an Siemens S65 - ordered a couple of unlock codes from a 3rd party place
The annoying thing is that I can get the code within 2 days, wheras my provider will take 4 weeks WFT
The only consolation is that the provider a paying for the unlock codes......
