im with pipex adsl think ive got 50mb of space, does that sound about right??


anyway can i use it to put pics etc etc?

or maybe even a website?

Yes you can use it to host pictures on, or to put a website on, you would need to upload the webpages/images via FTP.

I recall that Pipex have some nice guides about how t upload your files on their webpage.

I was in the same boat.
A friend told me to go to www.dowloads.com and search for CoreFTP, which is a free program to transfer photos, video clips etc to the webspace.
I cant rmemeber the details needed to get it working, but once runnning, its just a case of dragging files from your computer to the programs window and it uploads them.
So simple even a computer-numpty like myself can do it.

CuteFTP is another good FTP client. Completely drag and drop, very similar to windows explorer, so very easy to use.
