just wondering if you get free webspace on the standard broadband or do you have to pay a bit extra for the 30MB space of webspace.

I don't pay any extra for mine but there are different versions of BT broadband. I've had the Home 500 from BTOpenworld (29.99pm) for 2 years now, never tried filling it up but seem to recall that I saw somewhere that it recently went up to 50MB.
