Question Enlarging piccies when e-mailing?

If I insert a picture from "My Pictures" into an e-mail message and send it to someone it arrives as a tiny thumbnail size. I suppose this the size it is stored as but how do I get it larger before sending it? Using ME and OE6. Thanks, David

If you make it larger then it will just become blurry. You need to save it as a larger format to start with. How are you getting the pictures in there to start with?

Thanks Sub97. Many of them are from a CD of holiday snaps which I got from Trueprint. It has an e-mail option which results in the small thumbnails being sent. Or I save these to "My Pictures" and then send them but same result. Some are from piccies stored by the kids from a digital camera.
So I guess I'll have to investigate saving in larger format - do you think there should be a facility to do this? David

Depending on the pixel amount of your camera, most photos taken by one would have to be shrunk down to fit on a normal sized monitor.

Take a look at how big they are. My 2 megapixel camera takes pictures that are about 1mb each. They are 2048 x 1600 (ish) if memory serves me, when I transfer them to my PC.

If the CD of holiday snaps are in jpeg format, and are bigger than 60k, then they should be of a reasonable size.

OK Thanks, I think I have just about sorted it so your input is much appreciated. Saving to C:\ drive and then e-mailing as an attachment seems to be OK rather than trying to send directly from Truprint disc. David
