Try from the start bar
start -> programs -> internet explorer -> outlook express
if that fails
start an explorer session go into your program files directory, then your outlook express directory and double click the file MSIMN
If this works then your shortcuts are stuffed and need to be recreated.
other than that go to

Just another thought if you are reinstalling then you might want to go into the control panel and "add/remove programs" and blow outlook express away before trying to reinstall.

Come on now! Why do such discerning tastes here that chose such a cool car not use a cool operating system?
LINUX is the computer equivalent of this car!
I know this is a divergence but there you go.

Sorry but if you want to just get on and use your computer without needing to know that much about how it works and without having problems then the Mac OS rules.

AllanB-Without having problems? As a Mac engineer/developer for 3 years I would have to disagree - they have as many, if not more, problems as PCs, it's just that you can't do anything about fixing them!
Plus, my two new graphic designers have decided to get rid of their iMacs at home having used PCs for about 6 months and found them faster, cheaper and more stable...
flame out.

must aggree with you there. the iMacs and new G3/G4's are well flakey. As I am senior support engineer for a mac security software company I am well aware of the current flake state of macs. It's a pity as they are good machines (when they work!) never had that many problems with the 68k machines! or the 601/603 PPCs!
