What do people think? Im documenting the uni network then i need to come up with some reccomendations.

the basics are, gb core around 2 passports. 22 nodes. Flat network toplogy.

Is nortel the daddy at this setup or should i look at some other solutions

Ahhhhhhh nortel networks ........ those were the days. I remember configuring the Bay Networks AFN on version 3.xx code but you could never beat the BCN - that was the daddy

Ahh yes good ol bay networks stuff, outr comapny still has that through and through (although network is being overhauled next year so this might change).

Decent kit, if a place like mine use it can't be too bad as we need a reliable/decent setup, if things go wrong then we get fined so bad, and then theres the health issues (I still remember getting the crypto bug all thos eyears ago).

And I used to live almost next door to their large place down in Devon, that's before they went **** up and pulled out of the UK leaving thousands of people without jobs in Paignton/Torbay and up in Harlow
