Not had much time to get to grips with it yet but here's what I think so far...

Image seems not so crisp as Vice City - don't know why.
Excellent sound tracks - provided you're down with your homies
Not found any insane jumps yet
Man its big! I'm still in the first region and its huge
Get yourself 25 taxi missions in a row and you get .... (not going to spoil it)
Can't figure out how to increase my sex appeal (but can't work that one out in real life either)
Paint spray can be fatal...

Well, it took a whole weekend away from me, did manage to go out Friday night, other than that played pretty much solid.

I'm now shooting at motorbikes from the back of a motorbike and it's a pain in the ****. Other available missions are Firebombing a house and drowning a rapper.

Loving the soundtrack, even after the whole weekend a classic pops up now and again. Graphics do seem a little cacky now and then, but the PS2 is an old machine.

Found the sniper rifle late last night - TV Station - so have been having fun with head shots from the roof tops.

My sex appeal went right up for a while, but I don't have a clue why.

Just completed that bike mission last night, took me 2 attempts to get it right... very 'Terminator 2' when the juggernaut gets involved...

Currently got sidetracked trying to master flying the plane, and trying to get me cash level up so I can buy a safe house ( pain in the **** having to drive all the way across town to save each time )

Think sex appeal is a mixture of your clothing, hairstyle, respect, tattoos etc etc...

The game is amazing!! Can't find the van to rob peoples houses with yet though, any ideas?

Also I trashed my modded lowrider any ideas where I can get another from?

just started playing it last night, although i did enjoy it, i found the graphics a bit pish as well, but the ps2 is a old machine as said above,

im only on about 1.6% or sumthing so ive not even started but i love it!!

i jacked a car last night and it was a lowrider (didnt relise till i went for the horn or sumthing and it popped up lol)

Robbing houses doesn't pay well. The Van is normally by the Gym close to home. Try horseracing instead - Save before you gamble and after you win.

You see low riders and vans just driving around sometimes. The low riders are really crappy to race. Still have not won with it. Someone should look at the geometry settings....

Weirdest thing so far... I was coming out of the pizza shop, as you do, when a plane (looked a bit like a spitfire) crashed into a car and some locals right in front of me.

Everyone ran to look then the plane blew up and toasted them. Then an ambulance and firetruck turned up. The way the world just carries on around you in this game is what makes it for me!

The Lowrider is good for winning you some cash, just find a lowrider contest and bet all your money ( it is real easy to win if you have the slightest bit of rhythm ) also you can customise them up so they look fairly trick, costs big bucks though...

I currently keep a lowrider in my garage along with 3 bikes...

You need to finish the first chapter before you can go horseracing.

Played it for a couple of hours yesterday. Taking a bit of time to familiarise myself with the city again.

Got my muscles up to maximum in the Gym....he gets pretty big!

Managed to swim to one of the neighbouring islands/areas that are out of bounds (for me at the moment anyway)......you can get there but shortly after emerging on the other side your wanted status jumps to 4 stars!

Found 2 so far.

Very easy to die in this one compared to Vice City I think. My energy bar is creeping up in size slowly as I get into the game and get better stamina etc. Having to re-energise by buying food is a bit of a pain I think...was much easier to pick up the 'hearts' in the old one. Not as many Body Armours about either...only found one so far.

Has anyone tried to fly a plane yet..!

They have improved the controls but it is still bloody hard to get the thing to fly steady....

Did you break into the Airport? If so where?

Yeah, just get a car and park it next to the airport wall, jump on the car and you can then jump up and over the airport fence.. there is a little cessna type plane on the runway that you can nick...

park up a car and a truck next to each other and you can jump the airport fence. you can find a learjet (?sp) back it up and you have got just enough room to get it in the air. Fly it around for a bit and see what happens

Im only on the drive by mission but my car keeps blowing up!?

Don't bother trying to shoot them...just run them over in the car! Much easier!

So far I have oversprayed 11 tags out of 100. I was expecting something to happen at 10 but haven't noticed anything.

Had assumed it would be like the hidden packages in the previous two versions where you get a reward for each 10.

Did I miss something?

quick question - is GTA San Andreas 2 player ? It says so on the box but just wondered how this would be done in gameplay ?

It is not pure 2 player but yes it does have a 2 player mode within the game..

Dotted around the maps are '2 player icons', walk into one of these icons and you get a 2 player mode, I believe this is then either a rampage or a free roam...

They are rubbish but it is a bit of a flash back to the early days of arcades!

I spent frikkin ages trying to find a balaclava or ski mask for a bit of burglary, but could only find a hockey mask !!! And after all that, apparently you don't need a mask - just the black van D'OH !!!

What is fun is blowing cars up with one shot to the fuel tank
