I have to say I'm not normally a big computer game fan but a couple of my mates are addicted to this, so I decided to give it a go.

On single player games, I'm pretty good. I can win even with the settings on impossible. But when it comes to online multi-player... it's just impossible. The other guys are so good!

Anyone on here play online?

Were officially a 1942 / BFV clan, we mainly play 1942 as BFV is very hit & miss.

We're a very social bunch who meet up on-line regurlarly & in real life every other month or so.

When not playing clan games we play CS Source, Warcraft3, Zerohour and loads of other stuff

Yep I play for a BF1942 / DC clan, it's great. We all went to a LAN at Middlesborough last weekend - 18 of us (some from Denmark !). And yes, I'm old enough to know better ! And yes, the missus thinks I'm a sad git !

You just need to practice to get the hang of it online. You'll get your *** whipped initially but it's worth persevering with

I'm getting the hang of helis now so that's helping. I've gone from a kill ratio of 15/1 to about 7 or 8 to 1... but the guys I'm playing are probably crap LOL

I never really took to bf1942, was heavily addicted to counter strike, but the game was getting very demanding time wise to stay at a good level. I do play Joint Operations which is fantastic, definitely worth a try.

I play Battlefield most nights, Im part of a clan http://www.256clan.co.uk we play mainly the standard 1942 but do dabble in Desert Combat and some of the other mods if anybody ever fancies a game.
