Default Can someone do me a favour?

Take a look at www.moneysupermarket.com and tell me of the banner ads work for you (not the pop-ups, just the banners on the main page).

TIA

I got an initial pop-up, two banner ads from ING Direct and IF, then a full screen pop-up.

Weird problem, I get page can't be displayed for the banner ads. The ads are served by ad.uk.doubleclick.net. If I nslookup ad.uk.doubleclick.net it gives me the correct ip address but if I trace or ping it resolves the address as 127.0.0.1 and obviously my home PC ain't doubleclick.net. I've even dumped my DNS cache, checked the config of my DNS server and restarted but it still won't show me the ads!

No biggie, I'm just going for an interview with the company tomorrow and didn't want to a) not mention the ads if it's a known problem and look like I hadn't done my research or b) mention the lack of ads only for them to look at me like an idiot because my DNS server is acting up

Maybe time to get rid of Treewalk DNS...

Check in your hosts file.

Adware defence programs like Spy Sweeper write hundreds of entries into the hosts file, resolving them to 127.0.0.1
