Best ADSL deal with monthly contract?

Hi,
Firstly, sorry for adding to the number of 'which ADSL?' threads, but I couldn't find an answer to my question.
Can anyone recommend a good ADSL service for sub-£20 per month, with a monthly contract and no connection fee???
Freedom2surf are the right price, get good speed and customer service ratings on adslguide.org.uk, but there's a £50 connection charge. Have just moved into rental accommodation for 6 months so I don't want to waste money.
Was previously on Virgin.net, but a) their customer service is terrible (opening my account was an ordeal and closing it is proving even more difficult and time-consuming) and b) they're comparatively expensive.

If you have ADSL with Virgin at the moment, they have already paid BT to have your line activated. Migrate your ADSL to someone else that doesn't charge an activation fee for migrations (as they won't have to pay BT). I did this from Virgin to NDO, theirs is a 12 month contract though. Hope that widens your options a bit all the same.

Cheers guys.
I think it's going to have to be either Freedom2surf or cpbb then. I've moved house, so migration isn't an option - I'll have to get the line at my new house activated.
I can't see cpbb on adslguide.org.uk, so I don't know how good they are. It's looking like Freedom2surf wins out.

best 512 package I could find (a month ago) for a mate was Prodigynet £20.49 a month, 1 month, no port block or download restrictions.
Installed for him with a £24.00 usb modem from ebuyer and he's well chuffed.

I'm with Wanadoo (used to be Freeserve) and, to date, have absolutely no complaints about their service.
I pay for £17.99pm for a 1024k connection. The deal includes free connection and a free modem/splitters.
However, this particular deal is subject to a 2gb/month restriction which is more than adequate for my needs but may not suit everyone. Wanadoo's site http://www.wanadoo.co.uk/time/broadbandaccess/ includes a useful page showing what 2gb/month actually means in terms of useage.
