I am trying to install McAfee Internet Security Suite v.6.0 on my P4 Laptop running XP home. The Install starts ok but then I get a Script Error pop up window saying Line 642, Char 4, "idNT Notsupported", after this the install dosn't continue. I have to quit the install in Task Manager.

Any ideas how to sort? I have run the software on my desktop pc and it installs fine.

A colleague has mentioned .NET download whatever this is.

 

If its running within IE make sure script debugging is turned off, in tools options (somewhere!)

The window does say Internet Explorer Script Error. I have checked debugging and it is turned off.

What have I done wrong??
