Anybody bought this for the PS2.
I'm tempted just because the cover has a scooby on it but is the game any good?
Didn't think too much of 2004 and traded it in after a couple of weeks.
Cheers
Chris

Waiting for WRC4 to come out. I hired CM2005 yesterday from Blockbuster rather than buy it and find its crap. Its OK but I think WRC4 should be better. WRC3 is better than CM04 in my opinion.

just played it for the 1st time on ps2.
impressions good.
although i got it for free with a mag subscription and probably would not have bought it.
also interested to see how WRC4 turns out.
you prob also best off hiring it and seeing if you prefer it over 2004 ?

The game play has been ruined, and i can't put my finger on it but basically the realism has gone

I hired CMCr 2005 for the weekend along with Burnout 3 Takedown (I think !)
...and to my surprise played Burnout 3 most of the time... Mad game and people prone to epilepsy need not apply
So I suppose that sums it up...bit pish really .. especially the MG ZR that you get near the beginning of career mode.

crazy,
everyone i know me included prefer the CM games to the WRC ones. I buy the WRC ones but i find the handling strange. The cars wobble along, many corners can be cut because you skip accross the surface. there is no major crash damage, (steam from radiator is the worst). the only bonus you have is the realism to the actual Championship, i.e. drivers and cars etc.
CM has much better handling, stages are more real, you have to go first on the road. THere are old classic machines. It sounds better, nicky grist ias annoying i know but i still think this is the better game around.

WRC4 is looking like a good one rather than just an evolution of WRC3 (I didn't get no. 2 as I already had the first one)
You start off in a rally school and have to earn the good cars - sounds a bit like the licenses from Gran Turismo.
Will probably buy it, along with GT4 and Ratchet & Clank 3 which are all out within weeks of each other!
