Cant access internet
Hi everybody!
Cant access Internet on one of my machines since day before yesterday.
Since then I uninstalled the free trial of Kaspersky AV in anticipation of buying the pucker version
and
patched windows ME against the JPEG vulnerability that came out a couple of days ago.
Which one of these things has bu**ered my system?
Can still access Internet on other machine so its not a problem with my ISP.
Any suggestions appreciated

Don't worry, its over-rated 
sorry, have you:
Checked all cable connections? - unplug and replug them.
How are you connecting? dial up or broadband with a shared connection?
dial up - Is the modem dialing? (duff modem)
dial up - Swap the cables from the other PC (duff cable)
Shared NW connection - Can the PCs see each other? (duff NW card / cable)
