Webpage authoring tips / ideas
Help, I'm stuck.
I'm trying to write my own bit of cyberspace. I'm fed up of using my ISP webspace as a file dumping ground, and am trying to write my own homepage.
However I keep ending up with te same design, which "happens" to look like the ex's fiance's.
Any tips, just want a frontpage with 4 subloadable sections that load into a boxed frame (that I can do).
Its only going to be viewed by freinds and family at the moment, and a photo hosting bit for here and a few other BBS's.
I've tried doing a search on the web but, being at work they are blocking everything except scoobynet at the mo!!!!
I know some of you do this for a living so feel free to tell me to **** off, if this is encroaching.
Cheers
Simon.
PS: I have dreamweaver and frontpage, and have a basic grasp of both, but no understanding of HTML coding direct.

Have you tried looking on Macromedia's website for Dreamweaver templates? I'm sure they used to have a few you could download and adapt yourself (no html knowledge required).

Agree with Stevencotton.
Get yourself a copy of Osbourne Complete HTML Reference (by Thomas.A.Powell).
I learnt more from this book in 4 hours than any other source.
Good Luck
