Question "Cleaning" WORD Documents

I've got a substantial WORD document whose filesize has grown out of all proportion while "Track Changes" was switched on. Anyone know how to "clean" the document so that the next saving contains only the document "as displayed" please??

TIA

Open doc
Make sure all changes are accepted
Ctrl-A
Ctrl-C
Open a new empty doc
Ctrl-V

...will probably work. Might have to transfer the headers/footers across to the new doc as well...or just re-type them
...and I'm not sure waht it will do with any styles you have in the original doc

But worth a try...

Seems OK. Lost my footer (but kept footnotes) and some layout, which was easily restored. Thanks
