Question Anyone heard of JUICE web access

The words "free", "lunch" and "no such thing as" spring to mind when visiting http://www.juiceboosted.com/!!

They promise a 2MB+ connection, from any PC or Mac with a modem faster than 9,600kbps, with no extra hardware (just software) and for FREE??

Plus:
  • "You will never see another dead, blank or irrelevant page ever again" - or they will give you GBP500!
  • "You will NOT get another spam email EVER" - or they will give you GBP100!
  • "You are guaranteed to get a minimum connection speed of 2MB with 100% uptime" - or they will give you GBP500!
  • YOU will NEVER receive a virus or worm in your email inbox" - or they will give you GBP500!

So - what's that catch?

I could make a penny or two from that.

I don't get it. First of all what you posted before is impossible to guarantee.

Secondly the links on the site don't work, so I can't see how they are going to back up their claims

If you search google you'll find an affiliate that will give you access, not much in the way of further information though.

Legacy4x4Turbo and angrynorth,

apologies for the missing referral ID - the original link i was given had one hidden in the e-mail URL, so try this which is the original pointer.

Jason,

many thanks for the scam link - time for a bit of a read!

Cheers,

mb

does the phrase

"Would you like to earn over £10, 000 GBP a month without selling, stock, investment or having to answer the phone or write letters ever again?"

and

"Your success is almost guaranteed."

say it all? I know what it says to me.... (and it starts with a fool and his money...)

and I cant get the contact page to work either. strange....? but looking it up in whois gives an address in Old Gloucester Street, London, but the postcode appears to be for a PO box. may have got that wrong though..... spose I could always ring the 0870 number...

As with most things in life - if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.....

Approach with caution would be my advice.

..must admit, spam.com has quite a few interesting points, including that fact that a PC with a 9600baud (supported) modem would probably be running a slow 486 chip, a few megs of RAM and a few tens of meg of hard-drive. It would be rather hard for such a device to receive 2Mb/sec as raw data at the hardware level - never mind via some fancy "23 patent" compression software.

I guess we will know the truth in a couple of months!!
