I DL'd this and tried it out last night, but I can't get to change any video or control settings, as soon as I click video or control options the game launches.

Is there file of any kind within the game installation I can edit to do what I want? , or should I be able to do it through the game?

I'm inclined to agree with you, I can get it to run, but its a pain editing the .cfg to suit keys & graphics etc.

steve, have you tried the new nvida drivers that come with install?

I can't uninstall my existing Nvidia driver (56.72) to put on the one required for Doom 3 (41.09). I've also tried putting the 41.09 on top and it doesn't work!

If any one else has managed it, please share the knowledge!

Ian, maybe remove the drivers through device manager/uninstall the graphics card,then reboot. windows will probably load some default drivers at boot up, go back into device manager and update the drivers to the ones for doom.

That's a little more pain than I need at the moment! Is it worth it? device manager won't let me remove the driver as it say it's needed at boot up or something like that!

Ian (and mj) I saw that I had to install specific drivers and I tried, but failed, to get them to work. To be honest, it's much too much effort as the original game will be out in less that 2 weeks.
