Now you're in the right place, I've previously used HP scanners with ADFs for get documents into PDF. The 5590 (£270 on Dabs) claims to OCR a page into Word in sub 18 seconds.

Wouldn't you need more than one word to describe the price though?

Unfortunately, yes Our lowest of the low Kodak flatbed still retails at over £1k
Up to our wide format and high speed scanners at stupid money.

We've still got an HP ScanJet that does exactly what it says on the tin, bargains for the money
