Time to renew Corporate AV licence
should i stick with Sophos, or go to someone else? The system consists of a file server, mail server, and about 10 networked desktops.
Sophos has worked fine - haven't had any significant virus issues over the last 3 years, but the need to update the client via the cd mail out each month, is a bit of a pita. and it doesn't really work for off-site machines.
any ideas?

I'm a sophos user and will be sticking with them.
The fact you've not had a OUTBREAK is a good sign.
They now have products for remote users I believe.

Sorry for double post.
You should only have to update remote clients with a CD (or a zipped image of installer with current IDE's - about 9 meg).
Clients on your LAN can be auto updated as you update the server.

Yep, out corporate network is fully automatic both for LAN users and dial-in users. Apparantly, you just update the software on the one server and it automigically propagates to everyone.
Not had a virus infection in the seven or so years using Sophos on ym home machines either.
Cheers

PorperCharlie,
I work for a Sophos Partner, you should have Enterprise Manager within your Sophos Licence, once configured it will download latest IDE's and update all workstations, without any user intervention.
