Help Choosing New Printer..??
After a new printer with a budget of £200ish.
To primarily be used for printing pictures so after something that produces the best quality.
Can anyone recommend one and know of any good deals on at the moment?
Cheers,
Ant

I've given up on Epsons. The last couple I've had (stylus photos) developed real trouble with the jets blocking, smudging the printing etc after I'd been using them a while. I know of other people who've also had similar problems with them.
Now using a using a Canon i865 (around 140.00) and my brother has a Canon i965 (around 240.00). The quality is significantly better IMO, especially on photos, and you can print directly onto printable cd-r / dvd-r etc which is a very cool feature. A lot quicker than the Epsons as well....

I use a Canon i965. Great quality, especially photo's, and cheaper to run than my previous Epsons and HP.
Which magazine have just confirmed that running costs for the Canons are around half the price, over 3 years, than HP and Epson! That's assuming you use Canon ink, which I'd recommend, as the first time I used compatibles in it the jets blocked.
