XP Pro Task Bar Notifications
I have just done a clean install of XP Pro and on the lower taskbar, where the clock is... I now have the time and day and much bigger icons than I used to have. I don't like this... so how can I just get the time to show and reduce size of the icons?

right click on desktop and goto properties you should get alist of dispaly properties and under one heading i think EFFECTS there should a tick box for large icons untick it and voila! i think!

That effects setting changes the icons on the desktop - not the taskbar.

i have the same problem.. How did you do it??? Cause its doing my head in..
