Thinking of installing it to er..... hold some files

How should i make sure my pc is secure whilst doing this?

As you can tell i know very little about security in this problem.
Running Norton FW + Route firewall

Cool

thinking about installing Win 2k server on a box just to play around with the Active Directory. How complex would it be to setup?
just for the sake of gaining a little experience

I've done pretty much the same, have a old 850Mhz pc in my wardrobe running WinXP with IIS that I use to host files & also use it for downloading on Bit Torrent/Kazaa etc.

Very easy to set up & I just use remote desktop to do stuff on it.
