I have just had a look at G-Mail and it says that it's not available at the mo.....you have to sign up to receive updates, etc..........I gotta admit, it does look cool !!!

sorry all, i was invited and do not have the ability to send invites to others to allow them to join (yet).
I understand it is only google employees and some bloggers who have access.
It is still in beta, i'm sure it will be available soon to everyone else. Problem then is all the good names will have been snapped up.
From what I have seen so far, it is first class, the ads are v v unobtrusive (can't say I've even noticed them properly, and the privacy policy looks as good as hotmail/yahoo etc..

For those that were interested, it seems the thing has been opened up a bit (must be going on general release soon!).

WWSD - very unobtrusive IMHO.
I have had a look at the privacy debate, and understand the issues.
1Gb storage vs. ads I am immune to now - no brainer AFAIC.
