Symantec VPN Client 8.0

Symantec VPN Client 8.0
Anyone use this?
"Appears" to be OK for single dial-ups to attach to the network etc but...
I can authenticate
I can attach
I am shown as connected
(to the gateway)
I cannot ping/browse/etc etc to the citrix server that needs to be accessible nor anything else on that subnet.
W2K w/station through 1603 (12.0 I think)
There is NO problem with MS VPN client.
I have been through Symantec KB and all the correct ports are open with the correct protocols etc. My subnet is not the same.
Anyone any ideas/help?

Chances are it's a routing issue. I would guess and say that the default gateway for your Citrix server is not the VPN terminator device.
To solve this you'll either need to run RIP (or some other Routing Advertising protocol), Add a static route for the remote network (difficult if your using a dial-up) or run DHCP for the VPN session.
