looks like my cable conn is soon be upgraded from 1mb to 1.5mb for free

3mb link for £50 a month ! ?

Excellent, just had Blueyonder broadband put in, now I learn the speed gets turned up at the end of May

Cool.

Strange thing happened to me the other night. I was downloading an ISO image from DC++, when the download went from 90Kb/sec up to 2.35Mb/sec

Downloaded 800Mb in minutes. Don't know what the hell happened, but it's not done it again. Good to see what cables capable of

Had it for nearly 3 years its about time they moved the game on a bit, I’d have rather had a price cut to say 20quid a month as im not a big downloader.

Eurobell is Telewest. Telewest bought them out a while ago

And in Plymouth it is still called Telewest Eurobell.

But then again the internet is called Blueyonder...

i still call 'em eurobell cos thats who i was with a few yrs ago for tv and dialup internet in exeter.

think they could decide on one name and be consistent

Well officially they are Telewest but some of the regions and their staff don't like change so they still reffer to it as Eurobell, I must admit that we do too
