Max File share connections / W2000
Our document imaging is stored on a W2000 machine (the scanning machine). This consists of a database, but the documents are stored as .tifs, so once the resultset comes from database the client can load whichever pages to do with that query.
We're finding that occasionally when people try to connect they get a windows error saying the maximum number of connections has been reached.
Is there any way (registry??) to change this?

Andy,
Do you use a client application that requires more licences? If not then you're probably out of licences on the server. If its set to "Per Server" and you've specified x numbers then you might be over that (check this in control panel->licencing). Check how many you are using in control panel->administrative tools->Licencing products view tab.

Andy our imaging (as in pc imaging useing pqdi) server does this from time to time , and its only the support team that use's it ... weird as most the time no one else is logged in, and its not set to per server
can still get to it via a dos boot disk, will have to fix it one day
