Question Colin Mcrae Rally 04

Anyone played the PC demo of Colin Mcrae Rally 04 yet ?
I'm just downloading it now.
It should be better than version 3 especially with online play.

Cool

I've had it a few days and am very impressed with it. Got it ordered £18.98 incl P&P, which I thought was quite good.

Don't be fooled - if it's anything like the XBox version, it's fun for a couple of days (especially the multiplayer) but the "online" bit is misleading - i.e. you can't play against others on the net, it merely saves your times there.

And here's a tip.

If you are going to get serious with this game, use the in car view from the start.

If its like the PS2 version, when you get to final hardest level, this is the only view available.

I was really P***ed off I only play games with the above car view so could not do the final level. And I really can't be bothered re learning the whole game using the in car view.

Damn good game none the less.

Thumbs down

Well I've played it for a bit and it doesn't seem that different to CMR3 or the previous games except for better graphics and sound.

Seems to me that this series of games is becoming the FIFA of racing games.
