Retrieving a sent e-mail
Using MS Outlook 2k, can a sender retrieve a sent message. I'm sure this happened to me last week, the message still sat in my Inbox, but when I tried to open it I couldn't. Was at work, other user on same software, would be interested to know how its done.

AFAIK you need to be in the same company to recall emails ie fred@bloggs.com , jack@bloggs.com if you sentd externally john@smith.com the first two can be recalled the last one wont and the person can open it
And as Miles has mentioned its not very reliable either way

How message recall works:
This feature requires you to be using a Microsoft Exchange Server e-mail account. The recipient of the mail you want to recall must also be using an Exchange server e-mail account. For example, you cannot recall a message sent to someone's personal Internet service provider (ISP) POP3 e-mail account.

You send the mail out of the Exchange Server environment, no luck.

When I said Outlook, I should have said Outlook with MAPI support. The Exchange server doesn't handle recall per se, but it provides the MAPI interface that allows Outlook to attempt the recall.
