Networking with blueyonder
My M8 has just had Blueyonder Broadband installed and would like to run two PC's off the one connection
The main PC is XP and the second is 98SE, if that makes any difference????????????
Is it possible to get a "Y" connector for the USB lead so that both PC's use the same wire - in effect????

If the pc's are right next to each other a simple crossover cable and two network cards would work.
You can buy the cards 10/100mbs for about £5 each and £2 for 3 meter cable.
If in different tooms get wireless adapters - currently £10 each. You can do a PC to PC connection but only with the two computers, saving the cost of a wireless access point/router.
Just share you internet connection and use network wizard to tell second computer that you connect through a LAN not direct or dial up.
