i'm mad on final fantasy! got 7,10 and now x-2,where did you find 4 and 5 coz i thought they were only released in japan?
and yes ps games do work on the ps2!
if you've never played final fantasy before i'd recomend the guide book as the games are so big and so much goes on in other missions that you just wouldn't know about and they tell you all about the monsters and spheres and everything infact

I think they did 4 and 5 as a reissue for PS1. I've been tempted but never actually got them. FFVII is still my fave by miles and they are supposed to be doing a film based on FFVII and also another game based on it for PS2 Still tempted to go back and play FFVII again. Also got and finished 8,9 and 10
I started it yesterday (only a week after buying it...don't ask!) and am enjoying it. Seems a bit more kiddie though in that you seem to be a bit more directed in where to go and what to do. Don't know if that is to help appeal to the younger generation or not, but still looking good so far
