Question

I am a bit of a PC technical numptie and I am having trouble with my internet explorer on my PC at home. When I access sites such as scoobynet, I am constantly getting problems down loading the pages and the computer tells me that the program has performed an illegal operation and will shut down....which it does.

Anybody know why this is?

The Explorer is an old version (ver 4 I think) is this the reason? Where can I get a newer version?

The PC is a Pentium 3, 450Mhz (Slow...I know!) running windows 98 and access is via a 56k dial-up modem.

Any help appreciated!
