Got me lady on the phone, one of her mates was messing aruond on her laptop, and it's booting in safe mode.
She is using windows ME, I never used the grotty OS, and have no idea with it. Normally I thought when you boot up, it gives you the warning screen that it's going to boot in safe mode, and the option to booot in normal. But apparently not.
Any ideas?
I am trying to find out whether it went into safe mode because of a crash or because of muppet behaviour, but well she is a typical girl with pc's (no offence indended to any computer saavy girls)
IE they might of just booted it in safe mode by accident, rather than from any hardware fault.
Cheers
Nick

Reboot, if it still goes into safe mode without prompting first, possibly due to improper shutdown. Run scandskw in safe mode, then restart again.
