I thought it was very similar to the 1st, same levels with escaping from a building blowing up and the dreamworld stuff. Game is nice to play but I always want to skip past the comic like windows in between levels.
Playing Call of Duty now and thats a lot better game IMHO.

i aint played max payne 2 yet, i realy liked the first one tho, ive got a fair few other games to complete first tho!

I quite enjoyed it too 
Still like the 'Matrix' stylee slow down moments, made me chuckle the first time I threw a Molitov Cocktail at some baddie and it went all slo mo watching him burn heheheheheh
Halo on pc isnt that good imo, started playing it last night and was quite disappointed.
Dunno what to play next, in the last two weeks finished:
NFS Underground
Call Of Duty
Max Payne II
Played and didnt like:
Mercedes Sportscar Racing (Very Poor)
Halo (Not a patch on the x-box version for some reason)
Pro Evoloution Soccer 3

Max Payne 2 is good, but is far TOO similar to the first one, the ending is pretty much similar, im sure they could have thought of something elese for you to shoot at.
Prince of persia pissed me off so im 90% through and aint played it in weeks.
Hmmm, i hear the sound of dual ingrams reloading whilst im diving down a set of stairs backwards in slow mo, right got to go..........................

Already playing Tony Hawks... NFSU, CMR4, PGR2, Battlestar Galactica, XIII, Deus Ex2 (all on XBox 
Think Halo PC blows the XBox version out of the water!!
Purely, down to an easier/mouse-based control. 1st person stuff is always cr@p on consoles for this very reason....
also depends on howgood your g/card is
