Ordered my new Mobo, CPU, Ram & Cooler from overclockers yesterday at about 5pm on standard Amtrack delivery.
All of it arrived this morning at 11am, truely amazed it arrived that fast, especially as it's xmas.

So I've spent the day playing with my new toy

I was lucky by the looks of it then.
My Barton 3000 is running at 46C
with system temp of 50C

Think I need some more fans

Overclockers was the cheapest I found, £340 for CPU, Cooler, Mobo & 2x512 DDR400

I've had nothing but top-notch service from OcUK in the past. I'll happily use them again.

Thats what I thought, until this order. It is not until you have problem you realise how bad a company is

It was their customer service that backed-up my opinions of them. I've used them for a number of years, and in that time have changed systems more times than is probably sensible . I've had some duff Corsair memory and a couple, maybe three duff motherboards (all Epox!). Each and every time the kit was replaced quickly and without question.

I can believe that people have varying experiences - positive and negative - of the same company. Maybe it came down to the particular individuals we each dealt with on those occasions?

Like I say I have not had problems before but this time I must of spoke to 3 or 4 different people and they just didn't care ... I have done a search on more feedback and people say they same thing. Good for prices if nothing goes wrong, but if you have problems you can have bad problems.

At least they have a retail outlet, phone and fax that you can vent your opinions about their service...

Try ordering something from Dabs and do thae same...ahahaha good luck, by e-mail only. very frustrating..

I will keep on using Overclockers myself until they do screw it up, but up until now they have been faultless, even when I've had to RMA stuff that failed.

Looks good Beemerboy, had to make do with cheap case etc for mine, limited funds hahah.

Just put another case fan in & my system temp has dropped 10C, gona buy a couple 120mm ones tomorrow

Did pretty well, kept my existing GFX card & Hdds & the rest only cost me £365 total for a Barton 3000XP, 512x2 DDR400, MSI K7N2 delta Mobo, cooler master cooler & a case.
