Question

Now the festive season is upon us all, i'm gonna hibernate with a few cases of stella and some screwdrivers.
Yep, i'm gonna build a bling bling minitower.
I've looked at kustompcs and overclockers etc, but does anyone know any other good "COMPONENT" sources.
Also, having been a Pentium user for all this time, i might make the transition to an AMD system.

If anyone has any recommendations or advice, pls let me know as i got to lose a bit of cash this week and dont want to spunk it on a load of cr4p!!

My starting point will be this puppy.

thanks in advance.

If I was building a new PC, (which I aint as I have 5 on the go atm ) it would have to be started with this puppy. Bling bling isnt the word.

It has been tested with a 9800 XT as the case has side vent mesh which also looks cool with a neon in it.

thanks Jye, that looks very smart, but i'm a bit more of a multi-drive type bod, you know - cd to cdr/dvdcombo, couple of 7200 hard drives and 400+watt Psu's. - enternal netcard, soundcard and graphics.

managed to get hold of all the following kit for £405 + vat

Artec Midi Tower, as per pic above
ThermalTake 480watt silent psu
Gigabyte 7N400 with XP2800 + Cooler
512 DDR 400 Ram (2x256)
samsung black cd-rw/dvd combo
128mb geforce fx5200
round cables (ide and floppy)
sony black floppy drive
maxtor 120gb 7200 UDMA 133 HDD
screws etc
delivery.

bargain, i think.
