well after the debate last time and having pondered owning one for sometime Ive got a sexy shiny Powerbook G4 and must say its pretty impressive.
But some ?'s for the mac bods on here:
In windows I tend to use the keyboard alot more than the mouse, are there equivalent keys to do switching of apps (like Alt+tab), minimise all windows (windowskey+m), close an app (alt+f4), also how can I access the menu using the keyboard? Wheres the best resource of information for all shortcut keys?
Upgrades, currently its running 10.2.3 and I fancy putting panther on, now is it normal to upgrade one 'over' another?, in windows Ive always formatted a HD and put it on a full 'clean room' version
whats the best route?
and for the musos, I know under Wintel youve got mainly VST plug-in under mac it seems there are a whole array, AU, VST and ive got some plug-ins that are mac compatible that say MAS/RTAS as well anyone shed on light on this?
plus any good sites, books anyone could recommend?
cheers

The IDG .. For Dummies series of book are very good. Boght an iMac for my mates Mum who used to call up once and hour. Bought her this and no phone calls since. Nice clear terms used and covers most of the stuff you'd actually want to know.
That was the iMac for dummies and I dare say the OSX one will be as good.
Its pretty easy to pick up to be honest. Most apps have the keystroke shortcuts in the menus
