my computer won't let me log on to certain sights, got an AVG virus checker latest version which says it is clear.
only thing i've noticed is when i start up the computer it comes up with the connect/work offline box which it didn't do before, when i click work offline an error message box titled opensite comes up saying "run-time error '62':
inpu: past end of file
anyone have any ideas
thanks - matt

Are you on Broadband? Who is you provider?
Try going into internet options and make sure that it is set to never dial a connection.
Then Configure it to use your LAN if on broadband.

sounds like some-thing is trying to set you IE up other than microsoft intended.
Get yourself a copy of adaware and run that. sometimes the software that these things detect can mess about with your settings.
Failing all that, download a copy of Internet Explorer 6 with SP1 and re-install IE>
